Therefore you have to call for attention to these grievances, you have the freedom of speech and the possibility to express your opinion and your ideas. Die Olympischen Spiele sollten eigentlich dem sportlichen Vergleich und der Völkerverständigung dienen. Es soll den Völkern die Möglichkeit gegeben werden sich zu verbinden und miteinander zu kommunizieren. Doch wie soll dies in einem Land möglich sein, in dem Menschenrechte regelmäßig verletzt werden und die Pressefreiheit mit Füßen getreten wird?
Die letzten Wochen und Monate haben gezeigt, dass China die Olympischen Spiele Peking 2008 vor allem dazu nutzt, um Propaganda für sich selbst zu betreiben. Doch darin besteht nicht und kann nicht der Sinn einer völkerverbindenden Veranstaltung bestehen.
